On Tuesday, a development program named Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprise (SCORE) have been signed by the President of the Swiss Confederation, Doris Leuthard, for the improvement and development of the production, quality and working conditions of the small businesses in Indonesia.

The program’s launch ceremony, which aims at encouraging quality management, coordination at workplace whilst increasing healthy competition and maintaining safe working environment, was held amid several representatives of Indonesia’s Manpower and Transmigration Ministry, Indonesia Employers Association, Trade Minister, Health Minister and several Indonesian business people.

The Swiss Government has funded the SCORE program which is in coordination with the International Organization, costing at US $5 million across various countries like Indonesia, China, South Africa and Vietnam.

The President Leuthard has said that car hire “Switzerland’s growth in the productivity and competition, does not effect or decline its long history of social freedom and the efficient measures of high standards can be accomplished only with comprehensive workforce participation.”

Manpower and Transmigration minister has delightfully expressed his gratitude to the Swiss government for its help towards the working forced and has also announced that “in Indonesia, there are 70% of workers who are employed formally by the Small and Medium Enterprises but the matter of concern is still of the quality of the employment.”

It is reported officially that Indonesia has already began its activities and very soon, it will expand while including other two clusters.
